Andrea has a passion for protecting the environment and has dedicated her career to improving water quality using new and emerging technologies. She has a broad-based knowledge of water and wastewater treatment design, specializing in biological and chemical oxidation processes and gas-to-liquid transfer. In her current role, Andrea leads the Application Engineering team at Moleaer, where her research focuses on developing the science of nanobubbles and their application within the Water-Environment-Food nexus.
Supply Chain Management Leader, North AmericaView Biography
As a Supply Chain Management Leader, in North America, Anna Kate is excited to bring her enthusiasm and experience in economic development to Moleaer. Anna Kate brings six years of experience in managing multiple projects and events from start to finish in both the public and private sectors. Anna Kate has a Master of Science in Economic Development and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi. Anna Kate also holds certificates in Supply Chain Analytics and Supply Chain Fundamentals from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Baji possesses 25 years of industrial water and environmental services expertise. He has led the launch and successful expansion of three early-stage startups as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing since 2016. Prior to this, Baji served as Director of New Product Development at Energy Recovery Inc. and held various global management positions at General Electric. His roles at GE included North American Field Services Leader and General Manager of the Caribbean desalination business. Baji earned an MBA degree from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, a Master’s degree in hazardous waste management from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Osmania University in India.

Benjamin is an Agricultural Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural business and expertise in farm management, agrochemicals business and market development in Latin America. Prior to Moleaer, he served as Sales Coordinator at Valent Biosciences, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical, worldwide leaders of Biorational Chemistry for the agriculture market. Benjamin founded Kapicua in 2018 in Chile and Peru and pioneered the implementation of Moleaer nanobubble technology in outdoor irrigation in Latin America.

Bob is native to the Netherlands where he lives. He specializes in the development of biological and mechanical water purification and filtration systems for lakes, swimming ponds, pools, and aquatic animal enclosures. Before joining Moleaer, Bob was the business unit manager at Ecosys Europe, a company that creates natural swimming pools and ornamental lakes and ponds for resorts, zoos and private properties. For the last 17 years, Bob has dedicated his free time to Testudine preservation and protection.

Brad has more than 14 years of water industry expertise, with extensive experience in municipal and industrial water and wastewater applications, including power, mining, petrochemical, municipal solid waste, dairy, food and beverage, groundwater remediation, and protein. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from the University of Nebraska. He is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Connecticut.

In 2002, he founded SoCal Water; a company focused on after-market service of existing industrial and wastewater facilities. Bryan has 20 years of experience in the global water industry. Prior to joining Moleaer, Bryan spent seven years as Chief Executive Officer of Voltea, which specialized in water purification; prior to this, Bryan co-founded and served as the Vice President of Operations for Seven Seas Water, during the company's early-stage growth in water production and wastewater treatment plants. Bryan earned a PhD from the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at the University of Southern Mississippi, and leads the Caribbean BOO portfolio for GE Water & Process Technologies as Program Manager.

Cesar has worked in the water and wastewater industry for 18 years with an extensive background in water quality analysis, wastewater, and drinking water treatment plant operation and maintenance. He previously worked as a technical assistant for water quality problems throughout Venezuela and assisted in developing and evaluating conceptual engineering projects for drinking water treatment plant rehabilitation. Cesar is enthusiastic about working towards sustainable water treatment and resource conservation. He earned a Chemical Engineering degree from Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela, a Masters in Wastewater Treatment and Management from Alicante University in Spain, and an Advanced Masters in Technologies for Integrated Water Management from Antwerp University in Belgium.

Chris began his career in commercial landscape construction in the 1990s. With a lifelong passion for watersports and a family of boating industry professionals, Chris's passion for water merged into his career in the early 2000s. He owned and operated a 20+ person landscape construction, site development, and soils company and was an early adopter in natural pond construction. In the late 2000s, Chris worked business development and sales for a large forestry equipment dealer, then operated a large forest products /sawmill company that brought him from Minnesota to the West Coast in 2012. In 2017, Chris joined the water treatment industry. At Moleaer, he's turned his passion for renewable resources and water treatment expertise into revolutionary business development initiatives.

Christian joined Moleaer in 2019 with a strong passion for clean water technology and application development. At Moleaer, Christian is an application engineer and manages applied research for surface water and other application development. He also coordinates nanobubble research with U.S. academic partners, studying their applications in separation, oxygenation, and oxidation applications. Christian earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh where his research focused on AOP technology development for contaminant removal.

Davey comes to Moleaer with a background in the nursery and farming industries. He grew up on a third-generation farm and ranch and later co-owned and operated a nursery and garden center for over 15 years. Davey managed sales, landscape design and services, and in-house plant cultivation, which later transitioned into organic vegetable production in 11 acres of greenhouses. In his free time, Davey coaches wrestling for his kids and attends their sporting events. He looks forward to growing with Moleaer and apply his passion for agriculture and sales to bring chemical-free nanobubbles to more farmers in the United States.

Duy graduated from University of California, Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. He has always been fascinated with biology and engineering and learned that the word engineer comes from the latin ingeniare, meaning “to create or devise”. He chose a career with Moleaer in the water industry because water is a resource needed for all life and people often take water for granted. In his free time, Duy enjoys repairing motorcycles and automating aquarium systems into more sustainable ecosystems.

Emad brings a high level of skill and experience as a tubing and field technician to Moleaer's service team. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Ain Shams University, Egypt and become a member of the Worldwide Society of Petroleum Engineering. Later, he moved to the United States where he earned a Diploma in HVAC and EPA 608 Universal Certification from UEI College.

Federico was born in Rimini, Italy, land of Fellini, wine and bathing suits. Setting aside his natural attraction for the arts, he studied at Universita Politecnica delle Marche, where he graduated with both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering, focusing on water treatment. He then moved to California and obtained his Ph.D at the University of California, Irvine with a dissertation focused on the optimization of wastewater treatment.

Gray started his career in the oilfields of Andrews, Texas, where he eventually became a leading field engineer. Gray worked on a wireline truck for eight years before moving into management and sales roles. He's now bringing his lifetime of agricultural and industrial experience to the water treatment industry as a service technician and oilfield salesperson at Moleaer.

Hoshang brings over 18 years of experience in the global water treatment business. He joined GE Water & Process Technologies in 2004 as an application development engineer and progressed through roles of increasing responsibility with GE and successor organizations including Suez Water Technologies and Solutions and Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions. He was the Regional Executive for the S. Asia from 2011 through 2015 and Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific business from 2015 through 2018. In his most recent role as Executive Vice President – Chemical Monitoring Solutions at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, he provided product and P&L leadership for the global and North American business. Prior to joining GE, Hoshang worked with Air Products for seven years. Hoshang earned three degrees in Chemical Engineering including a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.

As an American resident in Norway, Jan Eric brings 23 years of sales management and business development experience in the Scandinavian market to Moleaer. He has broad experience in sales, marketing, and product and concept development. Joel began his mechanical engineering career as a freelance product design engineer for small-scale, custom consumer products after studing Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Riverside. He transitioned into the aerospace industry where he worked on optimizing manufacturing processes for multiple product lines. What brought Joel to Moleaer was his desire to be part of an industry that actively pushes for sustainable technology and the betterment of our community and environment.

John has worked in the water and wastewater industry for 18 years. His experience started in the installation of underground utilities and led to managing operations of a medium size sanitary district. John is a California State Water Resources Control Board Grade V and Texas Commission on Environment Quality Class A wastewater treatment plant operator, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering management from Arizona State University. He strives to use his strong problem-solving skills to improve efficiency, reduce costs and ultimately, provide a better product to the customer at a lower cost. Because of his passion for protecting public health and the environment, he pursues emerging technologies to overcome complex process challenges. As part of the Water Process Engineering team, he will work to advance the application of nanobubble technology in water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment.

Jorge has over 15 years of experience in application engineering and product line management. While working for multinational water control and irrigation technology companies, he led international sales teams in technology and agronomy. Jorge has extensive technical knowledge in flow control, automation and irrigation technologies, and digital solutions. He also possesses a global market perspective of the applications and needs in many countries, cultures, and environments. His interests lie in technologies and solutions focused on promoting efficiency and sustainability. Before Moleaer, Josh helped grow the nutrition brand Soylent by 400% over four years through leadership roles in corporate strategy, retail and Amazon sales, marketing, and international growth. Originally from Almería, Spain, Juan has spent his career in several countries working across multiple industries including, horticulture, agriculture, food processing, hunting, and law. Before coming to Moleaer, Juan lead development of industrial models for food hydration and promotion of new technologies for agriculture and the food industry with the goal of lowering productions costs while ensuring efficiency and quality.

Justin joins Moleaer with over 8 years of experience in sales throughout the agriculture industry. Prior to Moleaer, he served as the sales manager for BioBee, a company that produces beneficial insects for agricultural uses. He served as an Integrated Pest Management Manager at Costa Farms. Justin graduated with a horticulture degree from North Carolina State University where he was a greenhouse research intern.

Kevin is a veteran of the oil and gas industry, in both O&G production as well as technical sales. In his previous role, he was the Global Oil and Gas sales director for The Linde Group, working on improved and enhanced oil and gas recovery using CO2, nitrogen, and natural gas liquids. Additionally, he holds several patents in the field of enhanced oil recovery, including some using nanotechnology. He has a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Chemistry from Ball State University.

Kevin graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Biology and focused on studying sustainability and regenerative practices. Kevin is interested in ways to mesh society's current practices with more sustainable means. Fascinated with biomimicry, he loves learning about how nature has evolved to create its own solutions and how humans can utilize these solutions to solve complex human issues. Since graduating Kevin has worked in an analytical chemistry lab for the past three years, running instrumentation and data analysis. With his experience with biology and chemistry, Kevin hopes to bring a more sustainable future through his work with nanobubble technology at Moleaer. The applications for nanobubble technology seem to be endless and he hopes to bring some of these promising applications to fruition. When not in the lab, Kevin enjoys appreciating nature, camping, and rock climbing.

Kimberly brings extensive experience in finance within start-up ventures to the Moleaer team. She holds a B.A. in Finance & Real Estate Law from California State University, Long Beach. Kimberly has over 10 years of experience in leading the accounting departments of many reputable companies that she helped organize from inception. In her free time, she works on obtaining a Master’s degree at Pepperdine University.

Laureanne is passionate about science and environmental protection with extensive experience in wastewater treatment. She earned her M.S in Mechanical Engineering for Renewable Energy from Sorbonne University in Paris, France. In the meantime, she worked as Business Engineer for a gates and screening supplier, discovering a new interest for water treatment. Laureanne pursued her career with a Ph.D. in the same University on cavitation bubbles and catalysts-based technologies to degrade organic molecules. She then moved to the U.S. and worked as Project Engineer in a wastewater treatment plant in Long Island, New York. Afterwards, she joined Caltech as Postdoctoral Research Associate to characterize ozone bubbles in a packed column for toilet water treatment. As an R&D Scientist at Moleaer, Laureanne studies nanobubbles properties to develop new applications in water and wastewater treatment.

Shortly after earning a Master of Science in the United Kingdom, Laurent, a French native, lived in Latin America for 10 years where he developed commercial skills as a business entrepreneur. He has worked in the water and wastewater treatment sector in Europe for the last 20 years and has participated in solutions development to improve water quality for food and beverage, municipal, power plant, pharmaceutical and other industries. Laurent is passionate about bringing innovative treatment technologies to the market for better water quality and more sustainable wastewater processes.

Leah brings over a decade of experience in environmental applications and green chemistries with a focus on developing, identifying and bringing to market new products across a variety of industries. Prior to Moleaer, Leah was a Senior Product Manager at Evonik (previously PeroxyChem), one of the largest specialty chemical companies in the world. She also brings experience as an Environmental Engineer at MWH Global, where she specialized in soil and water remediation. At Moleaer, Leah strives to combine her personal interest in green solutions with developing opportunities for Moleaer in the Food Safety segments. Leah earned a BS in Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University and MBA focusing on strategic management and marketing from Villanova University.

Mario Mondo joins Moleaer with 25 years of management, commercial and operational experience in water treatment companies operating over sixty water treatment facilities in twenty different countries. He was one of the original founders of AquaVenture Holdings Limited in 2006, which sold for $1.1 billion in 2020. He brings an extensive background in the water industry and executive level management to Moleaer as the Director of Global Services. He possesses certification in diesel technology from the Wyoming Technical Institute.

Mauricio possesses a passion for sustainability and agronomy. His background includes marketing strategy and execution for multi-national efforts in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East at startups and large international companies. Prior to Moleaer, he was the regional manager for Bioscore, a start-up in Spain that helps assess and certify hotels for international sustainability strategy and standards. Prior to that, he worked for Marriott International and Starwood Hotels and Resorts in international, brand and digital marketing. Mauricio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomic Engineering from Universidad Centro Occidental Lisandro Alvarado, Venezuela and an MBA from Universidad de Deusto in San Sebastián, Spain. He is bilingual in Spanish and English and has intermediate knowledge of Italian. He originally hails from Venezuela and currently lives in Valencia, Spain.

Michael is a senior expert and practitioner in climate-smart agriculture (CSA), having worked for more than 40 years as a farmer, teacher, researcher, scholar, irrigation consultant and business owner. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy with an emphasis on technical and policy interventions to enhance irrigation efficiency in semi-arid and arid regions. Michael served as a CSA consultant for the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank in sub-Asia and West and East Africa, the German Development Fund in Palestine, the Sustainable Trade Initiative in Viet Nam, and the Inter-American Development Bank in Peru and Argentina. And he most recently authored the East Africa Smallholder Agricultural Program in Kenya. Michael is the ‘expert speaker’ on climate change and agriculture for the United States Department of State serving the U.S. Government in Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Egypt. He began his career as the water, irrigation and farm manager for Kibbutz Gezer in Israel for 20 years. In his personal life, he’s blessed with a loving and supportive family led by an incredibly patient wife, three children and three grandchildren. A man of many talents, Michiel started his career in finance at renowned European bank ING. He then became an entrepreneur in the renewable energy sector, where he grew a multi-million dollar business. Before landing at Molear, Michiel transitioned once again to the Dutch Horticulture sector, where he set up the commercial activities for an innovative LED manufacturer.

Miguel is an industrial engineer from the University of Malaga with almost 20 years of work experience in different engineering and manufacturing roles. Prior to joining Moleaer, he worked as plant manager for International Paper, the quality and environmental manager for Smurfit Kappa, and the industrial manager of an organic fruit and vegetable packaging plant. Miguel joins Moleaer to manage and oversee the development and implementation of Moleaer’s new Almeria, Spain manufacturing facility and office, establishing the supply chain, supervising the assembly line, and guaranteeing units are distributed from Spain to the rest of Europe and the Middle East.

Mohamed is a research scientist at Moleaer and conducts applied research on the interaction of nanobubble science and electrochemistry. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Irvine and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Born in Denver, CO, on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Mohamed developed an attraction to the outdoors and natural wonders. His love for nature created a curiosity about how human activities affect our environment, driving his passion for the field of renewable energy. To pursue this passion, he studied electricity generation from hydrogen using solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) and the application of SOFCs in microgrids during his undergraduate research. This later propelled him to apply the concepts of electrochemistry, fluid mechanics, and colloidal chemistry in his graduate studies researching liquid-fed proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrodes, particularly those used in direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC) and PEM water electrolyzers.

Roel has had an interest in water since childhood, growing up near the sea and in the famous Westland where his parents run a flower greenhouse. After finishing his Bachelor of Built Environment & Water Management at the Hogeschool of Rotterdam in 2015, Roel worked in several international roles in the Dutch Horticulture sector. Roel joined Moleaer in April 2020 as a research engineer. In this role, Roel analyzes how nanobubbles affect various crops and supports partners and customers with technical services in Europe.

Zening is an enthusiastic chemist with an established research background in colloidal and surface chemistry of nanophase materials. He earned his Master of Science in Applied Chemistry from Huazhong Agricultural University with research interests in photocatalysts. He then moved to the U.S. and accomplished his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Auburn University where his research focused on surface chemistry of colloidal liposomes. After that, he joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a postdoctoral research associate studying soft matter. In his free time, Zening is full of passion for line art hand drawing and never declines an opportunity to visit galleries and museums. He also enjoys cooking, using his sense of chemistry to make delicious Sichuan cuisine. Beyond that, Zening loves being outdoors and appreciating natural wonders.
