Partnership brings Moleaer's patented nanobubble technology to more car wash operators through Sonny's scale, distribution network and operator relationships.
October 30, 2026 – Sonny's Enterprises (Sonny's), a leading provider of conveyorized car wash equipment, parts, service and technology solutions, today announced a distribution partnership with Moleaer, the global leader in nanobubble technology, to expand access to advanced water treatment solutions for U.S. car wash operators. Through the partnership, Sonny's will offer Moleaer's nanobubble solutions through its distribution network and relationships with operators.
Many car washes reclaim water, but its quality limits how much operators reuse. Conventional systems remove heavier materials, while oils, soaps, waxes and low oxygen can affect water quality and cause odors. Operators then rely more on freshwater, raising water and sewer costs.
Moleaer’s patented nanobubble technology introduces oxygen nanobubbles into reclaim water to support aerobic conditions, reduce odors and improve the separation of suspended solids, oils, soaps and waxes for easier removal. By improving reclaim water quality and consistency, operators can reuse more water throughout the wash and get more from existing systems.
"This is an exciting, customer-first partnership that gives operators more ways to significantly reduce freshwater use and water costs while operating more profitably," said Andrew Smulski, Chief Commercial Officer of Sonny's. "By pairing Moleaer's water treatment expertise with Sonny's scale, distribution network and relationships with operators, we can help more customers get the most from water reuse solutions and identify new opportunities to improve efficiency."
“The car wash industry is moving toward greater water reuse, and the next step is making reclaimed water suitable for more applications throughout the wash,” said Josh Bachner, SVP of Marketing and Corporate Development at Moleaer. “Our technology helps operators get more from their existing reclaim systems by improving water quality and expanding reuse opportunities. Partnering with Sonny's makes this technology more accessible, giving operators a practical way to reduce freshwater consumption, lower costs and improve wash performance.”
By leveraging Sonny's distribution network and operator relationships, Moleaer's nanobubble technology will be available to more car wash operators looking to manage water use and costs while maintaining wash quality. Moleaer’s solutions are designed to integrate within existing reclaim and reverse osmosis systems, with configurations suited to different car wash applications.
