Leah Kramkowski Joins Moleaer With Over A Decade In Environmental Applications & Green Chemistries

June 6, 2022 (Carson, CA) Moleaer, the leading nanobubble technology manufacturer, announced the appointment of Leah Kramkowski as Senior Market Development Manager with a focus on food safety. Leah brings over a decade of experience in environmental applications and green chemistries with a focus on developing, identifying, and bringing to market new products across a variety of industries. Before joining Moleaer, Leah was a Senior Product Manager at Evonik (previously PeroxyChem), one of the largest specialty chemical companies in the world. Leah earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University and MBA focusing on strategic management and marketing from Villanova University.

With more foodborne illnesses and harmful residue concerns, sustainability and food safety are becoming increasingly important for the food supply chain. Consumers are more aware of where their food comes from and are demanding more sustainable and chemical-free ways to sanitize food. Big questions are being asked in the food industry: What’s on the food we are eating? How do we clean our food with fewer chemicals? How much food is going to waste from pathogens and poor shelf life?

Nanobubble technology is helping answer these questions through their unique chemical and physical properties that provide a chemical-free means to destroy pathogens, control biofilm and reduce the amount of water used in food-related processes, from improving crops to enhancing the cleaning process and increasing wastewater treatment efficiency.

“With my background in environmental engineering and a personal interest in environmental protection, I am thrilled about the opportunity to work with Moleaer’s nanobubble technology,” shared Leah when asked about her new appointment, “There is an immediate need for proven technologies that make a positive impact on the environment and society to combat current global agricultural threats, such as climate change and water shortages. One such area is food safety, where we can achieve more efficient food production, with reduced chemical and water usage.  I am truly excited to be part of such a motivated and talented team and look forward to growing the use of this exciting technology to have a positive impact on our communities.”

Warren Russell, CCO of Moleaer, said: “We are pleased to announce Leah has joined our team to lead the development of our Food Safety Department. Her business acumen and expertise in environmental applications and green chemistries will help Moleaer expand further into this industry to help food producers and packing facilities use water more efficiently and reduce chemical use to create a more sustainable food chain. It’s integral to move forward in the food industry with sustainable, chemical-free ways to become more effective and efficient.”

Moleaer now has over 1,700 installations of nanobubble generators in more than 32 countries and is treating more than 569 million gallons of water per day in agriculture, aquaculture, surface water, wastewater, and natural resources.

About Moleaer

MoleaerTM is an American-based nanobubble technology company with a mission to unlock nanobubbles’ full potential to enhance and protect water, food, and natural resources. Moleaer has established the nanobubble industry in the U.S. by developing the first nanobubble generator that can perform cost-effectively at municipal and industrial scales. Moleaer’s patented nanobubble technology provides the highest proven oxygen transfer rate in the aeration and gas infusion industry, with an efficiency of over 85 percent per foot of water (Michael Stenstrom, UCLA, 2017). Through partnerships with universities, Moleaer has proven that nanobubbles are a chemical-free and cost-effective solution to increasing sustainable food production, restoring aquatic ecosystems, and improving natural resource recovery. Moleaer has deployed more than 700 nanobubble generators worldwide since 2016.

About Nanobubbles

Nanobubbles are tiny bubbles, invisible to the naked eye, and 2500 times smaller than a single grain of table salt. Bubbles at this scale remain suspended in water for long periods, enabling highly efficient oxygen transfer and supersaturation of dissolved gas in liquids. Nanobubbles also treat and eliminate pathogens and contaminants of emerging concern as well as scour surfaces to break apart biofilm matrices, creating a powerful, sustainable, and chemical-free disinfectant (Shiroodi, S., Schwarz, M.H., Nitin, N. et al., Food Bioprocess Technol, 2021).
