Zening Liu joins Moleaer’s growing R&D team

November 7, 2022 (Hawthorne, CA) – Moleaer, the leading nanobubble technology manufacturer, announced the appointment of Zening Liu as the company’s Research & Development Scientist. Zening is an enthusiastic chemist with an established research background in colloidal and surface chemistry of nanophase materials. He earned his Master of Science in Applied Chemistry from Huazhong Agricultural University with research interests in photocatalysts and his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Auburn University where his research focused on the surface chemistry of colloidal liposomes. After he received his Ph.D., Zening joined the Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a postdoctoral research associate studying soft matter. At Moleaer, Zening will study nanobubble’s unique and intriguing properties, provide professional solutions to customers, and explore and expand nanobubble applications.

When asked about his new appointment, Zening stated, “My chemistry intuition tells me that as a type of green chemical nanobubbles play an important role in addressing many pressing issues our world is facing today. We have so much more to learn about nanobubbles and their applications in a variety of industries, and I’m excited to join Moleaer’s team to help do this. Moleaer is a great place to connect my research background and interests.”

“Moleaer is bringing exceptional new talent to our growing R&D team to continue to study the fundamentals of nanobubble properties and behaviors and investigate new applications,” states Sohail Akhter, Moleaer’s Vice President of R&D. “Zening has a unique and impressive educational background in nanophase materials and colloidal and surface chemistry, areas that are pertinent to nanobubble research. His expertise will help us continue to understand the vast applications of nanobubbles.”

Moleaer now has over 2,000 installations of nanobubble generators in more than 42 countries and is treating more than 569 million gallons of water per day in agriculture, aquaculture, surface water, wastewater, and natural resources.
